Your Lucky Star is developed and published by SafeTenet Pty Ltd, Australia. It is an astronomy application designed to calculate a star result from birth details supplied by the user.

Information used

The app asks for a date of birth, time of birth and place of birth so it can calculate the user's star. SafeTenet Pty Ltd does not create an account for the user and does not store the user's birth details on SafeTenet servers.

Birthplace and location services

When the user selects a birthplace, birthplace information is processed using Google services to identify the selected place, its coordinates and the historical time zone needed for the astronomical calculation.

The birthplace is information entered or selected by the user. Your Lucky Star does not require the device's current GPS location in order to calculate the user's birth star.

How the information is used

The birth date, birth time, birthplace coordinates and historical time zone are used to perform the astronomical calculation and display the result. They are not used by SafeTenet to create an advertising profile or a personality profile.

No astrology or profiling

Your Lucky Star does not create fortunes, predictions, astrological readings or personality profiles.

Third-party services

Your Lucky Star uses Google services for place identification and historical time-zone resolution. Information processed by Google is subject to Google's applicable privacy terms and policies.

Children

Your Lucky Star is a general-audience astronomy application. SafeTenet does not knowingly use the app to collect or store personal information from children on its servers.

Changes to this policy

If the app's handling of information changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated so that it continues to describe the app accurately.
